    The Manager Acceptance & Engineering Standards is a key member of the Telecommunications Operations Group, responsible for the operational acceptance of Telecommunications infrastructure and services, ensuring all documentation and systems are up-to-date and field audits  are conducted in preparation for operational handover and readiness.

    This position is also responsible and accountable for developing, reviewing, and maintaining all VicTrack specifications and standards, ensuring they are kept relevant and meet regulatory,  technical requirements and industry standards. 

    The Manager will lead, mentor, motivate and provide direction to the Acceptance & Engineering Standards team in accordance with VicTrack policies and procedures to ensure business and  operational goals are delivered.

    Position status: Full-time

  • Network Management Centre Technical Officer

    About the role

    As a key member of the VicTrack Network Management Centre (NMC), NMC Technical Officers  participate in the day-to-day operations to monitor and manage all of VicTrack telecommunications  network based on SDH, PDH, DWDM, OTN, IP/MPLS, xDSL, wireless transmission and access  networks. 

    The NMC Technical Officers undertake day-to-day activities on a 24-hour basis as part of the  management of the network, these activities include: 

    • active monitoring of networks
    • troubleshooting of network issues and faults
    • resolution and escalation of network issues and faults
    • handling of change requests, permits to work, security monitoring calls and job ticket reviews  
    • contributing to the continuous improvement of NMC operations and processes.

    Position status: Full-time
