Update - Stage 4 coronavirus restrictions
We’ve paused construction on the new station car parks at Hurstbridge, Sandown Park and Craigieburn and the start of works at Epping because of the current Stage 4 coronavirus restrictions in metropolitan Melbourne. We’ll start works again in line with directions from the Chief Health Officer.
The temporary pause to our works will help to slow the spread of coronavirus by reducing the number of people leaving their homes and moving around Melbourne.
Once it’s clear how this pause in construction affects the timeline for completing the car park projects, we will let you know.
Project related works that are not based on site will continue to be undertaken remotely.

About the projects
On behalf of the Victorian Government, we are building new and upgraded car parking spaces at key metropolitan and regional stations across Victoria.
The car parks are:
- easing parking congestion at some of Victoria’s busiest stations
- improving security with new CCTV and lighting
- improving access to stations with new and upgraded footpaths
- providing accessible parking spaces
See below for information on individual car parks, or email us at email@example.com.
